Amy-Theresa Billups aka Amy-T is a Certified Makeup Artist based out of the Chicagoland area. Growing up in the South Suburbs of Chicago, Amy didn't realize just how much her passion was in all things Beautiful and joined forces with Mary Kay. Being a part of the Mary Kay team opened her eyes to an industry of Beautiful, God Fearing, Family Driven Women.  It was then that Amy was awestruck with a deep fascination for makeup, which she found liberating.  Her focus immediately shifted to helping women, especially ones who were victims of childhood bullying, and broken relationships.  Often these women developed insecurities over time and Amy wanted them to live strong and to feel just as beautiful inside out.

In October of 2012, Amy-T Makeup Artistry was born and quickly elevated. In May of 2013-2014, she was an Assisting Makeup Artist for the Natural Hair Bridal Show in Chicago, IL.  In June of 2014, Amy was personally selected by AJ Crimson to work with him as an Assistant MUA for The Makeup Show Chicago. After meeting even more of the industries leading makeup artist such as James Vincent, Tia Dantzler, and Danessa Myerick Amy-T knew that makeup was not a career but a way of life. Amy-T has been featured on Essence.com on several occasions, as well as being a recipient of the SHBR 2015 MUA of the Year Award, lead MUA on over 60 weddings, over 100 plus proms and her work can currently be seen on the Power 92.3 Chicago website. Her clientele includes Transgender Diva Sydney Starr, DJ Nephets, DJ Pharris, Shaggy, Jade, and Candace McCollum from 92.3 and Chicago’s very own children’s’ author Jordan Rivers.
